Each month, I organize casual social gatherings with a goal of building community, particularly among younger and emerging artists. I hope you’ll consider joining and bringing friends. There is ample free street parking and Myrtle is just 5 minutes from the heart of the East Side of Providence. For me, these growing meetups have been a source for wonderful connections and new friendships.
In other news, I recently established www.newenglandartnews.com, a dedicated website where I will be sharing longer form reviews and artists profiles from throughout the region. Crafting a Community Show in Providence
I added a short reflection to my personal blog this week about the 4th Annual Community Invitational Exhibition which I organized at the Providence Art Club. Read it to learn more about the show, which is on view through April 17.
I’m always looking for artists who have work available and have an open interest form available on my website. I’m also happy to collaborate with other organizations as a juror, judge, or curator. You can find a list of my past projects on my website, and can email me with questions if you are seeking a juror for a show.
